IT Manager
My responsibilities as an IT Manager are as follow:
- Manage and maintaince the IT controll governance.
- Work closely with the Regional IT and Center’s IT Department to implement and support global systems, gobal initiatives, ensure local systems including hardware, software and internet connection meet standards requirement.
- Develop and manage annual budget plan for project IT and ensure that the expenses are on track.
- Manage internal networks, servers, firewall and file share systems in all offices.
- Plan, source, maintain and dispose of IT hardware and software and to ensure in line with SCI and Donor Policies and Requirements.
- Maintain SCI global standard applications implemented in supported office locations.
- Take the lead in the identification of the needs, and development of in-house applications or adoptiong from other COs.
- Manage IT projects, ensuring smooth rollout of new project/ initiative and software development.
- Ensure that the most stable, effective and efficient email and internet systems is maintained at supported office locations.
- Maintain security of systems, networks, internet and information in line with global IT Security polices.
- Develop, implement, document and communicate a suitable data backup schedule based on importance of key business data and application including servers in line with organizational standards.
- Lead the IT team to deliver technical support to end users on a range of IT related subject, and keeps them at breast of technological advancement in IT.
- Proactively understand staff software needs and recommend purchase of software in line withorganizational standards that will improve staff effectiveness or infrastructure with clear cost analysis.
